We’re seeing buyer confidence continuing from the end of 2016 and the recent run of great weather in Sydney really looks to have been the motivation that local buyers really needed. Enquiries at the moment are for a wide range of late model berthed vessels. Boats ranging in size from 26’ to 50’ are in demand right now.

With the US Dollar hovering around the $0.75 mark it has effectively taken away any price advantage of private importing and within the Australian marine industry there’s a lot of positive talk, positive action and with reports that upcoming events like the Gold Coast International Marine Expo have booked (or reserved) 95% of exhibitor space weeks ahead of last year’s show, things seem to be on move up.
